Positive Control for Total IgE

The positive control is exclusively suitable for the correctness control of the Gold Standard Diagnostics Total IgE Kit. The instructions for use of the test kit must be observed. The correctness of the performance of the determination is considered to be given if values within the acceptable range (see section 'Control Value' in the corresponding product information for the Positive Control for Total IgE) are generated. Exactly hitting the target value is not a necessary condition for meeting the trueness criteria.

If the value is outside the acceptable range, the cause must be clarified before releasing the results. If necessary, Gold Standard Diagnostics should be informed.
